Situated behind the Rubenesque Rose-Aimée Bélanger sculpture on McDermot Ave., Sole Spot Sneaker Boutique is bringing
trend setting shoes to downtown’s boutique district. Sole owner Jordan Hammond says his goal with the store—which opened in
December—is to catch Winnipeg fashion sneaker seekers up with what the rest of the world is wearing.

Populating the store’s shelves are brands like Onitsuka Tiger by Asics, JB Classics and Reebok. Hammond says he’s also trying to beef up the store’s women’s styles, which now include selections from the hot NYC 80%20 line. Sole Spot is open 11-6 Mon-Fri and 12-6 on Saturday.
